The Hush House is the Perfect Holiday Getaway

Hush House is an iconic House in Coromandel Towns history. Ask any local and they will say... "You mean the Pink House?"

Once painted candy floss pink it was a haven for the Coro hippies in the 70's learning the skills of pottery, textiles and crafts. If only walls could talk!

Hush House has a lovely feel from it's rich history and has retained many of its quirky features with wooden floors, exposed brick and bespoke windows.

Hush House is perfect for larger groups, for families, and can sleep up to six people.

The large open plan dining and kitchen areas are contemporarily styled and open up with french doors on to the deck and garden.

Everything You Need for Your Home Away From Home

The Hush House has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, 50 inch flat screen TV, DVD library and player and a log wood fire for those cosy nights in.

Hush House provides tea, coffee, sugar and milk and has free WIFI internet.

There is undercover parking for up to two cars.  Enough space for another car and a boat if required.

A Comfy Sleep to Help Restore Your Soul

The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom a double bed.

Each bed is made up with crisp white linen, comfy duvets covers and for the winter months there are plenty of fresh, cosy blankets.

Hear the Sounds of Nothing At All

Hush House opens on to the large  north facing deck and garden and is flooded with afternoon sun.

Families adore the garden as there is so much room for the kids to play and explore.

Read a book, chat with friends and hear the sounds of the native birds and very little else.

In summer time enjoy the balmy weather and cook in the undercover outdoors with a BBQ and say hello to Alice & Ruby,  the kunekune pigs that live next door in the neighbours property.

Book the Hush Studios and Hush House and have all of Hush exclusively.  Ideal for a family gathering.

Hush is a Hidden Gem

"We recently came across Hush while looking for accommodation in Coromandel. Well, needless to say we were  thrilled to find such a hidden Gem. We all love nature and being amongst it, so this was such a treasure. As I heard the first bird song at around 4.30am, I opened the window so we could hear the sounds as we dozed on. We were all sad that this stop was only for 1 night on our travels. This place is stunning and the hosts were just wonderful. And what a bonus, it it just across the road from the Driving Creek Historic Railway and Pottery."- Ruth
